Vulipi is the home world of the main character, Phox. The Vulipi System "Proud and Dignified" The Vulipi system was the home of the sentient race called Vulupians. The Vulipian surface comprised many sub-races of fox-like aliens closely resembling one another. One faction moved itself to the moon of the world which also sustained life called "Lunar Vulpus". The Vulipi system and all of its life were destroyed in a mysterious cosmic event involving the entirety of the globe of the world. Due to its proximity to Vancoura , the seat of the patriarchy of man, the world was attempted to be transformed into a civilization, but none of the natural life found could consist of enough intellect to create civilization. It wasn't until the year 14832 Ce that civilization was found on Vulipi. The Galactic Antonian attempted to bring them into the Antonian, but the Vulipian factions all declined and were superstitious of space travelers. A man appeared to start ruling the largest of the Vulipian factions, how he made his way to Vulipi is unknown. Soon, rapid expansion and technical advancements were seen via satellite studies of the surface. More attempts were made with the new leader, Mr.Carper of the unified Vulipi, but he refused stating that "It was not in the interest of Vulipi kind to seek the aid of humanity outside of his capabilities." Five decades later, the Vulipian race(s) had advanced to the point of developing spaceports despite still not having any visible space-fairing vessels. Mr.Carper ruled through multiple Antonian reigns but never showed age. This was documented as suspect by the G.A especially after more attempts were made to make an alliance. Some members of the senate put the Vulipian system on an alert scale under "Potentially developing Threats". During the Week of Terror , the Nameless Emperor's armada visited Vulipi. Some form of deal was apparent due to the fact the alien visitor did no harm to Vulipi. After investigations and intel were collected, G.A intel discovered that the Vulipians had successfully procured foreign weapons of unknown abilities from the alien emperor. Mere months after the nameless emperor was gone from the galaxy, Princess Nova was occupied healing the world that was damaged by his visit. Within that timeframe, a mysterious force appeared from the center of the galaxy and encircled Vulipi. The planet was protected by a sophisticated shield preventing anything from getting through. The G.A reached out to Carper to try and offer aid to which he refused. 2 years after the siege began, the shield collapsed resulting in total annihilation of the surface. Nova was made aware of this, but she stated that even her powers couldn't resurrect the dead sentient life lost on Vulipi, and it was voted to remain dormant. They Vulipi in the present After its destruction in the year 14892 Ce, Vulipi was investigated for possible signs of life to which none were found. The planet's surface was deemed "Toxic and a hazard to anyone who visits" and put off limits to any visitors who were not involved in the government or authorized to visit. At this point, the only known survivor is Agent Phox. The only details of the events that took place are considered to be top secret and only shared between officials in the G.A. The moon system that sustained life still does indeed host sentient Vulipian races. They are extremely hostile and avoid contact with outsiders.

The Malderane Era is the darkest time in history for humanity within the Adventures of Phox setting. Read about it here. The Malderane Era The Malderane Era (Me) began at the end of the Dawning Era, year 565De. This Era lasted for at least two thousand years ending in the year 2,109 Me and it is the most brutal of all other eras in history. Malderane , a self-proclaimed god, emerged onto the scene and set forth to enslave all races of sentient life. He made himself known as "The Dark One" and kept his name hidden from all beneath him. Humanity would suffer the most at the hands of the corrupted being. Some scholars imply that the Dark One was supposed to be the warden of the physical realm sent forth by Magnum Auctor However, this is unclear due to the age of events that make up this age in history. Malderane made sure the human home world, Vancoura, was subject to extreme horror and instilled dread upon anyone who dared to try and dwell on it outside of his desires. The Dark One turned the heart of the largest Continent on the human home world into his throne palace. At every waning Crescent phase of the moon, the kin to Malderane would go forth and cull large numbers of men at fighting age. They would do this to subdue any form of resistance even though there was nothing a mortal creature could do to harm a being like themselves. Malderane used the Waning Crescent, the last phase of the moon, as a forever sign in the sky at the end of the cycle to remind those under it he was forever watching. The Chyme Lords were the first humans who fell to corruption and sought to become gods. The Lords of Chyme The Word Chyme means "Time". And that is exactly what the Chyme Lords prided themselves on, the ability to manipulate time. According to the Malketech Tablet , the Chyme lords could not traverse timelines. But rather cause their surrounding area to become slower giving them an edge over their opponents . The Lords of Chyme during the Dawning Era The age of the Chyme Lords started early in the Dawning Era in the year 10 D e . The first human, Ungar, found the "Pools of Chyme", liquid from the raw state of the universe being recently forged, and drank from it. He, along with those who partook, gained unnatural powers. Ungar's Dynasty quickly became the dominant of all other human houses. Anyone who married into the families that partook of the Chyme would share the powers with their offspring. The Chyme Lords didn't want all to be equal to themselves and set their numbers to a set rank. As the years progressed, Ungar and the others realized that their special gifts gave them forever life. In the year 200 De , a great war raged between natural humans who were loyal to Magnum Auctor , and the Chyme Lords. According to the ancient text , the Chyme Lords expressed utmost dominance on the field of battle. Until one tribe of humans who were loyal to the true creator "Struck from the rays of the sun into the eyes of his enemy and seized their beating heart." The meaning of these words in the literal sense is not clear, but it is followed by "Their bodies were respected as any other man, and not revered as the gods they sought to be." This indicates that the expansion of the Chyme Lords and Ungar's Dynasty was halted and not the entirety of humanity lived under Ungar's control. The Lords of Chyme during the Malderane Era The dominance of the Chyme lords came to an end in the year 565 Me when Malderane proclaimed himself to be the real creator and deposed Magnum Auctor. This information was written in a preserved tablet from the Malketech and some details were found helping historians solve the mysteries of the dawning era. It is described that Malderane "Appeared in the house of Ungar like a plague. His voice mustered the venom of death itself, and none were spared from its call. All light was gone from him, and all light he consumed in the darkness of his malice. Contempt and hatred were shown to the Chyme Lords, and once they succumbed to his will, he spared not even the children of the neighboring houses. The high and lowly were all equally reduced to animals by unholy acts of butchery. Man was now reigned by a demon, a fallen Angel who forsook everything for temporary pleasures. In a world where mortals live and die, the immortal Intellect sold his birthright, given by Mangum Auctor, to be like the mortals." The author of this text continued to speak of the fortitude of man and how those found blessings in hardships when they kept to Mangum Auctor's faith. The Lords of Chyme during the Golden Era In the year Year 7,100 Ge, the Chyme Lords emerged from hiding to conquer Vancoura. Ungar and his hosts exploited the confusion and advanced quickly overcoming many space settlements where Zebratarians were not present. Upon confronting Golden Legionaries, the Chyme Lords would combat their powers with their ability to slow time. Even though the time manipulation was minimal, even that was giving them an advantage. The Chyme Lord's advance came to a halt in the year 7,124 Ge when Malderane set out on his own to personally stop their invasion. Unknowingly, the Chyme Lords attacked him not knowing it was the Dark One. Much like in the Malderane Era, the fallen humans became extra subjectable to the Dark Lord's cruel nature. He acted so swiftly that none witnessed the destruction of Ungar's fleet in deep space. Malderane returned with victory to the Zebratarians and humans on Vancoura. Whether or not Chyme Lords survived this event remains to be clarified. They are assumed to be destroyed in the Current Era.

Mr. Boyles makes executive decisions and uses a whole array of tools ranging from living agents to automated drones. During his career, Boyles has furthered the development of complex AI capable of breaching even the most com plicated security protocols.

Malderane, the Dark One, is an evil being within the Adventures of Phox universe. Malderane, the Dark One Below is a total account of the actions of Malderane, the Dark One known to humanity of the present day. Read with caution. Malderane was a self-proclaimed deity that lived from the start of written records in the Dawning Era to the end of the Golden Era . His last mention was in the Malkatech in an event known as the sacking of Vancoura in the year 10485 Ge . Most modern historians believe Malderane to be dead, but his spirit to still capable of manipulating the physical realms. There is also an indication from writing that there was more than one of his kind. The Dark One had many servants that were lesser than him, but still immortal beings. Malderane's Philosophy In his own words, Malderane deems humans and all other sentient races, as inferior fragments of a failed design. His charter of "Immortality by Death" states that all living souls should succumb to his will and allow him to manifest himself within themselves to secure true happiness and life. Malderane's teachings are still practiced in a form called the "Mazzacarian Rite". Mazzacarian cultists still prosper in the form of extremism on outskirt worlds. Mazzacarians try to shape world politics with violence and convert new members to their views through fear and intimidation. Some resonate freely due to the self-centered nature of Malderane's teachings and the amount Mazzacarian rite excuses vices. Self-worship is also a key to becoming one with Malderane, and mental dysfunction is taught in Malderane's writings as being defaults of Magnum Auctor . Malderane during the Dawning Era The Dawning Era was captured in writing from the Malketech as being tumultuous for man and other Sentient races. Below, it is written in somewhat abstract text the history of Malderane through the first era of time. Be mindful that ancient humans, and other sentients, did not know Malderane's real name. He was referred to as "The Keeper" or "Dark One." "The Keeper was destined to guide man through the mortal life into the spiritual. His perch was the highest of all the mountains, none was away from his sight. All sentient beings admired his grandeur, and respect was given to him and his master Magnum Auctor. Due to the passage of time and the rise of the Chyme Lords, many would begin to lose the memory of the one perched on the mountain. The supposed keeper of the sentient races failed to act and allowed heresies and ill deeds to progress. Until in the darkest hour of the night before the dawn, a thunderous clap of lightning announced his betrayal. For a messenger from Magnum Auctor smote the Dark One and condemned him to be forever banned from his master's house. Revelation from this spectacle gave the innocent lives warning, and they were able to hide in caverns deep. The Dark One consumed all the nonbelievers. And with diseases, he blighted the lifespans of all mortal beings." Even nature would be under constant assault by the Dark One's desire to transform the entire universe into his abode. Constantly, he would twist his own words to trap those oppressed by him and kill as many sentient beings as he could. Malderane made false humans to replace the originals that would forever be loyal to him and share his fallen nature. But, none could reproduce and their numbers would never grow. Malderane made a point to set up his throne on Vancoura in the ruins of his once glorious palace to lord over the land. Due to his betrayal of Magnum Auctor, his domain had turned into a black void not capable of holding beauty. From his tormented dome, he would grow his malice and torment the whole world that was the home of humanity. There were groups of sentient mortals Malderane would grant gifts, ones that would give him the full honor that he demanded and allow him to manifest inside their bodies. The Yazar system is one of the life-sustaining planets within the Galatic Antonian. The Yazar System " To no Crown shall I bend my Knee" The Yazar system is home to one of the G.A 's most mineral-rich planets that is life-sustaining. Colonized in the year 2460 Ge , humanity and the Teskras fertilized it, purified its waters, and turned it into a rival of Vancoura itself. During the reign of the Golden Era , the planet was full of prosperity much like all the other worlds. However, it offered a more rugged and frontier setting that many would seek to find an adventure of making a discovery yet to be seen. Zebratarians made the Yazar system the home to many of their great machines. Even to this day, archeologists uncover one of these ancient relics. The Yazar system was added to the G.A in the year 14,827 Ce when all 12 Antons declared themselves to be under the protection of the Vancouran Antonian , the Galactic Anton . In return of being part of the G.A, the Yazar assembly granted access for off-world miners to drill and mine on their territories. Its legacy of rich green waters, clear skies, pure rain, and peaceful land came to an end in the year 14920 Ce . The cause of this was brought about by the planet's decline into a dictatorship under the territorial governor Emmanuel Jarold. Officially breaking away from the G.A in the year 14,931 Ce , the governor organized many underhanded dealings before the war even broke out securing power both in the public offices and the underworld of the entire planet. During the war The Yazar succession war has been raging since the year 14,931 Ce to the present time. The first two years of the war was the containment and destruction of Yazar Republic 's fleets and interstellar defenses. Due to the length of the war from start to present year (7 years), the planetary defense shield caused extensive polluting affects to the atmosphere. It's hard to calculate the total affects on the wild life. The areas liberated by the G.A ground forces have revealed horrors both humanitarian and natural. Any location affected by a disaster under the Yazar Regime would be left on its own, condemned and converted to a waste site for excess chemicals from the war. The Yazar regime use an large amount of out dated plasma based weaponry. Unlike modern up to date arms based in plasma for the source of their payload, these forms of weapons tax the energy infrastructure and create much more amounts of chemical waste. Due to the nature of being pressed on multiple fronts, the Republic resorted to disposing of such assets by pouring it straight into the ground or into bodies of water. The impacts of this are yet to be analyzed and certain features have been contaminated with anti scanning particles forcing such sites to be tested by labs. Dynom is a scientist and one of the last of his kind called a Gazar Dynom Dynom is one of the last members of a sentient alien race known as Gazars. Gazars are much like machines but house organic matter within their metal-like shells. Dynom was an influential scientist of his race and remains to be a brilliant mind. He has become good friends with Professor Kap and is currently employed by Red Light. Dynom is known for his straight forward and dry humor. Majority of his jokes are actually brought about by his matter of fact statements perceived as satire. Dynom is an avid supporter of humans and has become good friends with Professor Kap. Thd Gazar is currently employed by Red Light.

Sparky is a best friend and business partner of Phox. Sparky Cocky and blunt, Sparky is a guy out looking for a good adventure. He makes an excellent companion when you need some firepower and a little engineering. Sparky works as a mercenary and often accompanies Phox on her mission. He runs a small dinner on the side to make a little extra money. Sparky is an Asteroid Barbaloo that lives on asteroid colonies on the outer edge of the galaxy. His particular group of Barbaloos started from a mysterious empire that fell apart many decades ago in the Great War between the Zebratarians and Malderane. He refers to his father as some form of warlord who is out to get him for betraying their emperor. Sparky brags about stealing the emperor's crown and selling it for his fancy hand cannon thus explaining why he is on the run. Example of Sparky's Hand Cannon Personality Sparky boats a very confident approach to any activity he undertakes. He would never admit to gambling, but Sparky practically takes gambles in high-risk jobs that he probably should avoid due to the dangers of their task. In his downtime, Sparky owns and runs a small pub in the southern hemisphere of Vancoura located within a tourist destination.

Howzier is a high ranking official within the Galactic Antonian Home Fleet Admiral Howzier Very commanding and strict to business, Howzier has the respect of all those underneath him. Despite his first impressions, he's quite a jokester. Howzier sometimes likes to use his renowned military career to set the stage for catching those who are nervous around him off guard with a quirky remark. Howzier assumed his role at a younger age than most of his predecessors. Being in his mid-30s, he is by far the youngest Grand Admiral to ever serve in the Antonian. With his rank, Admiral Howzier can control all fleets of the combined armed forces of the Interstellar Navy. The primary directive of the Home Fleet Admiral is to protect the capital system, Vancoura, and its neighboring planets, from domestic and foreign threats. This directive became extra strict after the Invasion of the Gazars. Admiral Howzier is also a member of the Council of Military Advice .
