Antonianships is a form of government within the Adventures of Phox verse. The Armed forces of the G.A The armed forces of the Galactic Antonian refers to the various military branches that make up their defensive and offensive capabilities. The branches of the G.A Armed Forces are as follows: The Galactic Interstellar Navy (G.I.N) The Interstellar Marine Corps (I.M.C) Terrestrial Navy (G.T.N) The Army ( Pictures pending ) ( Pictures pending ) ( Pictures pending ) Strategy used by the combined Arms of the G.A The tactics used by the G.A steadily advanced to a perfected, combined arms, warfare. The Army closely coordinates it's actions with the Interstellar Navy and the Marine Corps. Most enemy planets initially are protected by vast shield networks making it impossible to begin ground assaults without first space threats, and defenses, cut down. Terrestrial Combat In order to breach a planet protected by current or 6th generation shields, precise orbital strikes must first weaken areas of the shield with focus fire. Once a breach is developed, it is up to the Army and smaller space craft air wings to secure the atmosphere of the breached area. This maneuver is called Funneling, and it was used only once which was during the Yazar Succession war. In order to secure a Breach, the Army must install their own shield barrier to make the gains on the ground defensible and deny the defensive shields access to that portion of the atmosphere. Casualties for such operations can mount heavily especially if the shields being fielded by the enemy are state of the art allowing their artillery to shoot through the protected side onto the attacker. Air sorties, air defense, and space craft can alleviate enemy fire by attempting to expand the breach in the defense shield drawing enemy fire. G.A intelligence agency can also assist with cyber warfare on electronic systems and enemy radars prior to an assault. Once a large area is secured on a hostile world, large equipment is moved in with the assistance of Space Engineering brigades. Ocean fairing ships from the Terrestrial Navy are deployed. Electronic warfare systems are brought onto the planet's surface to increase the strength of their effectiveness. Espionage groups are able to increase in number of operations behind enemy lines destabilizing logistics and also sewing Space combat For combat in deep space, the G.A uses what is called 'Third Dimensional Warfare.' Battle-stations equipped with large scaled shields are used to control the maneuverable space by projecting shields. Due to space not having any confines where vessels can traverse, it is advisable to create a defensive or offensive line in a spherical shape. Dueling fleets would then proceed to attack the enemy force from all directions or focus on certain axis to achieve the upper hand. Typically the fleets with the most carriers, battle-stations, and battleships, come out as the victor. But occasionally with superior tactics smaller fleets can properly fend off a larger force using Third Dimensional Warfare. If an aggressive force attacks on a two denominational axis, that force will be enveloped quickly from the northern and southern axis of the defending fleet. The Antonian spy program is also very useful in space warfare. Small, hard to detect, craft collecting valuable data from enemy space-ways. Before any combat is initiated, if possible before a defense, the G.A ensures it has the most up to date information from its' enemy. (Diagrams showcasing these tactics in space will be provided in due time) Interstellar Navy The back bone of all branches is the G.I.N. Expanding protective positions across the Entire Antonian, the number of personnel operating within the Interstellar Navy, during peace time, averages to at least 500,000 - 800,000. Most weaponry allows the G.I.N to cover expanses of space with highly advanced technology. During a wartime scenario, the G.I.N can swell to millions of personnel. Both men and women are allowed to serve in the Navies of the Antonian, and unless faced with a dangerous threat, drafts are not often used for both the G.I.N, and G.T.N. Forming in the year 14822 CE, the G.I.N fielded the left over war equipment from the Golden Empire, and abandoned vessels of the Torkas Empire. It did not take long however for the newly formed Antonian to create their own warships. Spear headed by humanity's best scientist and engineers, battleships and heavy cruisers dominated any space engagement with a foreign adversary seeking to retake the human home world of Vancoura. Lighter ships of the new fleet were an arrangement of corvette, destroyers, and light cruisers. These vessels were designed for fast space travel and to attack enemy fleets well ahead of the main Antonian fleet. A diagram of all active ship classes of the G.I.N. Battleships. Battleships provide a range of defensive and offensive capabilities. In the early decades of modern warfare, battleships provided support with immense guns. In the present age of war machines, these vast vessels carry the most advanced weapons systems capable of striking targets on neighboring worlds. The current battleship designs, the Serenity class, are capable of fast space travel and rapid deployment of smaller craft and landing forces. Victory Class Battleships The first Generation Battleships, Victory class of the G.I.N, were introduced in the year 18,832 ce . They utilized external shields, but at a minimum. Their hulls were heavily armored and electrically charged to combat both energy-based and kinetic weapons. These giants still boasted a fast speed whilst in space. But, navigating within gravity was somewhat challenging and required support ships to keep them afloat. It took over 5,000 souls to man one of these vessels. Within that complement were the ship's air wing garrisons who would need to fly sorties to fend off a small craft attack. At the time of their service, especially at the start, threats from the Torkas were high. And their swarming tactics could bring down a loan vessel easily. Armed with a large arsenal of missiles, the Victory-class Battleships could provide vast areas with air defense. The superstructure on both the port and starboard sides was brimmed with plasma auto canons capable of intercepting small spacecraft such as fighters, Corvettes, and lightly armored cruisers. The Victory Class's most renowned arsenal was the quad-mounted turret. Housing four large gun batteries, these canons fired primarily 40'' high-speed kinetic bullets. These shells were capable of causing extreme damage to external shields and ship hulls alike. The hoists and loading mechanism were powered by an electromagnetic hoist. The weapon complement of the Victory Class Battleships often overshadows its other roles. Besides weaponry, this class of vessel also served as the ideal ship to deploy dozens of small attack crafts and landing vessels for terrestrial-based actions. All planned Victory class battleships were built, that being a total of 10. All of these vessels have since been retired and most scrapped. Only 4 remain in existence, with one of the 4 now being used as the Yazar Republic's flagship: the Y.N Ardent. The Victory herself, the lead ship of this class, left service in the year 14,872 ce . Currently, the historical vessel is reserved as a land-based museum in the Vancouran Peltov. "Didn't know what hit them." The Courageous Class Battleships Proceeding the Victory class Battleships, the Courageous Class saw vast advancements in capabilities. Its service was not as long, however, spanning 15 years versus the previous class's 40. This class of Battleship saw its service filled with fast-paced battles involving close ranges and strong firepower. In the years of 14,870s - 14,890s, localized wars tested the unity of the G.A. Extremist groups loyal to Torkas' Imperial authority, and also Mazzacarian rites attempted to spread violence to any faction that would join the Antonian. For defense, these ships fielded more advanced shield projectors and moderate to heavy armor. They were navigable within gravity environments as well. Detailed view showcasing the wide armament of the G.I.N Courageous The most formidable tool in the arsenal of the Courageous class was its' ranged weapons. Armed with 24'' rail gun turbo canons, the projectiles fired from these weapons could travel well beyond conventional missiles or torpedoes. To help the large vessel maintain an element of surprise, key compartments had a zero-gravity stabilization installed. If a Courageous-class battleship had to bombard a planet's surface, the vessel could turn upside down to do so. All compartments housing life forms would remain level as the ship would rotate. An advanced cloaking system gave the Courageous line of ships a near-invisible detection rate. The primary opponents who faced these fierce battleships had minimal detection systems and satellites, making a strike sudden and without warning. Unlike missiles or torpedoes, the 24'' projectiles would not produce a signature slow enough to be detected until either after impact or moments before. As technology advanced, so did other classes of ships. Carriers and siege satellites required vast amounts of smaller weaponry to fend off a large-scale swarm attack. Fielded on the port and starboard sides of the Courageous class Battleships boasted a strong array of anti-ship systems. Lining the top portion of the main hull, numerous missile cilos and turrets made the whole ship a force to be reckoned with even without an escort. Often in the event of a large-scale naval engagement, a Courageous-class battleship would deny an enemy force access to the battlefield before it could even pose a threat to sensitive targets. Displayed above is a detailed view of the main battery armament of the Courageous class Battelships. The smaller turrets are the various weapon systems installed on the exterior of the hull and superstructure. These armaments act as the ship's aircraft and missile defense systems. But these titans developed weaknesses that were exploited if the right situation presented itself. During a short-lived but costly war on the Curion system, a combined attack from Mazzacarian cultists, anti-Antonianist extremists, and Torkas' operatives destroyed the G.I.N Reputable, a Courageous-class Battleship. It withstood a three-week siege as slowly her escort vessels were overwhelmed one by one. Despite heroic efforts, it succumbed to 80 torpedo strikes, 120 missile impacts, and dozens of land-based kinetic strikes. The reason for the implosion of the Reputable is the fact that ammunition could be depleted in a matter of weeks. If logistics were not adequately protected, a besieged strike group would eventually succumb to a prolonged battle of attrition. The fate of the G.I.N Reputable sent shock waves through the admiralty. Solutions quickly developed, and technology improved. Only 8 years into service, the Courageous class became obsolete and converted into a reserve vessel playing only a minimal role in a strike group. In the year 18,882 ce, most of these ships had been scrapped. The final ship of the Courageous class was struck from the G.I.N in 18,890 ce. Despite no active duty Courageous class ships, the G.A does reserve an undisclosed amount of this class of battleship for emergency purposes. "More Machines." Dominance Class Battleships The Dominance Class Battleships ushered in new roles to fill within the broader advancements of Space combat. Starting in the 18,880s, land based anti-interstellar weaponry rapidly advanced. The Weaponry used to destroy the G.I.N Reputable were somewhat lesser variants of what the G.A fielded, and the outcome when deployed against the strike group proved to be quite revolutionary. The weapons in question were: large land based power plants utilizing Rail guns of a large caliber High caliber plasma canons utilizing land based logistics with a very long range Laser guided munitions capable of penetrating layered defenses using AI to navigate complex counter measures. The Interstellar Navy highlighted these elements as a high risk to altering the course of naval warfare and potentially making large zero gravity vessels obsolete. To combat these concerns, the interstellar navy presented two new classes of large scale operational battleships. One of the two presented classes to the admiralty was the Dominance class. It featured the largest power plant within a zero gravity vessel which allowed more rail guns of a larger caliber, larger and more powerful power banks for plasma canons, and also more stowage compartments for missile arrays of various types. To achieve these additions, it balanced a thinner armor scheme and more automation within the crew compliment replacing many tasks on board with robotics. Reducing crew compartments gave way to more space for machinery to power the advanced shields and weapon systems the G.I.N aimed to field aboard the new class. One compromise the Dominance class Battleship was force to make due to ship building limitations was foregoing the ability to release it's own air wings to counter small space craft attacks, or to launch air strikes with a combined air wing strike force. The Architects of the Courageous looked for means to include this in the design, but it became evident ship building limitations in the Vancoura Naval Yard would not allow a vessel to be built long enough to house a large hanger. The Dominance class measured a length overall of 1,400 feet (426.72 meters). To house the power plant along with adequate hangers for small fix winged spacecraft, it required a LOA of at least 2,000 ft. Current ship building restraints limited the length of naval vessels to be at 1,800 ft. Upon finalization, the Dominance class boast an array of state-of-the-art weapons. The starboard and port side feature 20'' rail guns meant for ship to ship engagements or missile defense. Two single gun, Turbo charged Max energy guns, of the plasma variant, are positioned on the Top and bottom surfaces of the vessel offering extreme long and accurate range capabilities. The bottom turrets provide adequate orbital bombardment options. For defensive measures, the Dominance class battleships features over 500 vertical launch systems of various missile calibers. Throughout the surface space not used by radar arrays or other equipment, the vessels hosts a large variety of anti aircraft weaponry and anti missile defense systems. The primary shield of the Dominance class consist of a barrier type, spherical in shape with a power yield of 4 gigawatts of electrical force. The effective range the shield could project outward to a mile away from the core. To power these systems, the Dominance class features a complex power plant relying on state of the art nuclear energy. The propulsion of the new class of battleship was also brand new and featured only on the Dominance class. Over 8 separate reaction engines for propulsion and has a max speed of 20,000 mph and a hyper speed of 1,999x light speed. The fastest form of travel fleets were the Spaceway Gates. Entering service in the year 13,891 ce, the G.I.N saw limited operational combat. It wasn't until the second Torkas war in the year of 14,908 ce the G.I.N Dominance and her sister ships saw fleet action. The Torkas Imperial Armada blitzed the far boarder regions of the Antonian. Exploiting unrest on the Curion system, the invading force overran its' defenses nearly securing a total dominance over the world. It's neighboring moons were also occupied and being non life sustaining, the Torkas built large defensive bases in preparation of a Antonian counter attack. G.I.N Dominance and Paramount lead an offensive in the deep space quadrant, A-Z-100 (Alpha-Zeta-100 relates to space charts and confined coordinates of a void space between solar systems near the Curion system). The new class of battleships proved very decisive when in combat during the 'Fish Bowel Massacre' (see the Second Torkas War: article pertaining to key battles :link coming soon:). The Fish Bowel consisted of a walled off sphere in deep space which trapped four Torkas capital class ships, their carrier strike groups, and light ships. The G.I.N Dominance, Paramount, and Odyssey, entered the containment field and unleashed their maximum fire power on the enemy. All in all, the Interstellar Navy proved to the Antonian that it only needed 40 minutes to destroy a Torkas fleet. With the list of achievements growing for the Dominance and her line of battleships, perfection was still allusive. During the duration of the second Torkas War, it became evident that the lack of a fixed wing defense on board the battleships, was a weakness when facing a large small craft swarm. In order to protect the Battleships, they would at least require an escort carrier. The potential was there: if the Naval yards of Vancoura would green light a larger zero gravity vessel, perfection could possibly be achieved. Zebratarians are the direct servants of Magnum Auctor, pure beings sent to combat Malderane's fallen beings. The Golden Empire The Golden Empire refers to the expansive realm that took control of the known universe during the Golden Era. It was the most prosperous time in the history of all nations, all were liberated from the grasp of the Dark One 's reign. The founders of the Golden Empire are Zebratarians, a race of supernatural beings sent from the gates of Magnum Auctor's domain. These beings were very much the same as Malderane before he fell with physical bodies, but also undying spiritual forms. The Zebratarians took on various figures to be less terrifying to mortals, the most welcomed were majestic equines with large wings of gold. In the current Era , the only known one to be alive is Princess Nova. All the others are believed to have fulfilled their mission, with the universe's current state being much better than during the previous eras. Depiction of Yennian, Yenneraz the Gold's son. When Zebratarians first appeared Zebratarians first appeared in the year 2078 Me when news spread of beings of light doing battle with the Dark One's hosts. Many didn't believe these rumors until Malderane began to treat his subjects ever so slightly better. This was an indication that something large was happening. In the year 2109 Me , 31 years after the first rumors spread, even Vancoura was visited by the majestic Zebratarians. The First Mazzacarian war was brought to a close, the Dark One was forced to remain in his ruined domain, surrounded by a lake guarded by Zebratarians. A year later, the leader of Magnum Auctor's warriors, Yenneraz the Gold, forged the Charter of Dignity, proclaiming all life sacred from conception to natural death. The next 50 years saw the Zebratarians pushing back corrupted mortal nations who would attempt to spoil the peace being brought near Vancoura. Yenneraz's legions would help humanity rebuild and heal. He ordered the construction of Vancoura, the steadfast city where Bellator's fortitude helped thousands live in freedom even under Malderane's reign. The Zebratarians built the "Spire" and the "Hall of Man " as a gift to humanity. All written accounts depict the Spire almost exceeding the atmosphere into space. However, these are still held as over-exaggerations, but it is clear that the structure was the tallest ever built. The Hall of Man housed every historical text the Zebratarians found in the universe. A span of 400 years of growth, peace, and healing took place, ranging from 2200 - 2400 Ge . Malderane was humbled and forced to sign a charter of peace with the Zebratarians thus ending the First Mazzacarian war. A rough sketch displaying Old World Vancoura city. The complacency of the Immortals The era dubbed the Complacency of the Immortals is one of the most complicated periods in the Golden Era . Mortals, Zebratarians, and Malderane all co-existed within the early centuries of the Golden Era. While the Dark One was trapped within his domain, the strings he had on the physical world were still in effect. The years of peace made all, even the Zebratarians, lax and less aware of danger. Malderane was allowed to let a messenger leave and attend the meetings between the mortals and Zebratarians. Yenneraz the Great hoped to see improvement in the Mazzacarians. And perhaps he could bring them back to the light, where they would be barred from meddling in the affairs of men. However, this would not become a reality. The Dark One's corruptive nature began to assault even the Zebratarians. Some would become subject to vices, others were not phased. Pride began to develop amongst the immortals, pride over their immortality. In the year 2480 Ge , Malderane was allowed to venture outside of his domain as long as he agreed to return with Yenneraz the Gold back to Mangum Auctor . The Zebratarian court was torn on this verdict, with half of the members voting against allowing him to return. The others, more proud and arrogant in their opinions, voiced that there was nothing he could do to harm them. Yenneraz trusted his council and allowed the motion to proceed. Once free, The Dark One split with rage. He cast his shadow away from his physical form, creating a twisted being. By doing so, Malderane sewed his swelling malice into the Shadow so that he, himself, would not die from building malevolence. Malderane ordered his shadow to do his bidding in the dark, not to give himself away, and to relieve his desires of lashing out at the physical realms. In a neighboring city next to Vancoura, one of the Zebratarians sought to tease Malderane. This Zebratarian was one of the proud council members, named Yerreck, who was under the impression that Malderane was powerless against creatures of the light. He brought out sacred dishes and dining ware that were straight from the house of Mangum Auctor for Malderane to use as his plate for the feast. Yerrek wished to mock him and allow his audience to see the dark being fumble with the dishes, which presumably would burn the impure hands of Malderane. But, unwillingly, he was falling onto the level of the Dark One himself with his mind set on petty things. Earlier that year, Yerrek was dabbling in mortal politics to see if he could help a house of men outproduce their neighbor and bring more humans under his direct supervision. And by having the Dark One humiliated in his mansion, all in the area would look up to him. His Fantasies were dashed when Malderane visited. Instead of dining, Malderane brought the flame of war making himself not a laughingstock of Yerrek's guests, but a terror to the masses. Bursting forth from all of the darkest crevasses of the mortal realms, Malderane's Mazzacarian hosts seeped into the land catching all off guard. The second Mazzacarian war had begun, the year being 2500 Ge. The second Mazzacarian War With vengeance and suicidal rage, Malderane led his hosts against the legions of the Zebratarians. He could sense the ones that were blighted by pride and targeted their domains first. Chaos and panic were also tools thrown at Yenneraz. Millions of humans and non-humans rushed towards Vancoura in an attempt to seek shelter, believing the worst was coming to fruition. Malderane was using tactics that granted him success during his wars with the Chyme Lords , ensnaring Zebratarians in time traps. By the year 2532 Ge, Malderane had seized control of multiple systems, and portions of Vancoura itsel f were under his dominance. Instead of stopping and possibly managing to force the Zebratarians and humans to a deal that would grant him land, Malderane persisted . He became even darker, giving the Zebratarians an edge in purity and more ground as the years dragged on. But any vice finding its way into a Zebratarian was a major weakness that could be exploite d. Yenneraz knew something had to be done to help his fellow kin who had gone astray to see their error and open their e y es. The Zebratarian Emperor sought a path of redemption for the Zebratarians who had blemished their purity and set out on his own to the Niatan Nebula. An Immortal's death, the Battle of Niatan Nebula Yenneraz the Gold feared that time was in the favor of his foe and took no delays in mustering his army. Alone, he told Malderane that he would fight him in the Niatan Nebula. Its location was close to the heart of the Galaxy and far from any solar systems. It was here that the Dark One knew he would succeed in trapping Yenneraz in a forever time-loop using the Galaxy's engine to ensnare Yenneraz forever. His Mazzacarian host, consisting of his fellow fallen brethren, would mass near the meeting place. Little did they know that the most selfless act in the mortal realm would be carried out. Yenneraz began to remove his soul and heart. Zebratarian hearts were literal orbs of flame full of purity. His was so pure that it forced the Mazzacarians, even Malderane himself, to stare at it. Raising it above his head, the Golden Emperor separated his immortality from his soul. In this act, all immortal beings could see Yenneraz. His words are written in the Malketech as he did so, "With my sacrifice, today may it be known that immortality is not what arms a Zebratarian. But, the will of his master, Mangum Auctor , is his weapon and shield. Only His Will is to be done." Bewilderment overtook the Mazzacarians. Frozen in thought, they fell like stones into the abyss. The icy coldness of their hearts seeped to the surface and grew so strong that their hatred for Yenneraz and Magnum Auctor prevented them from moving. Malderane ripped asunder and traversed at the speed of light to escape. For eternity, he became scarred and maimed. Never again would the Dark One ever experience the power he once had. The second Mazzacarian war was now drawn to a close, and all of the Zebratarian's eyes were open and their faults were laid bare. Yenneraz the Great showed his fellow Zebratarians that the ideals and matters of mortals were not the original designs of Magnum Auctor. And in reality, they were what their kind were sent to save mortal men from. The Golden Emperor became the symbol and sign for all to follow, with the Zebratarians taking the events of the Niatan Nebula as a reflection of themselves. Malderane's plans to retake what he had lost failed and united the Zebratarians. Now, the Dark One was alone and scarred as he drifted into the darkest confines of space. Age of Expansion For over 5 centuries the Golden Empire expanded dramatically. Humanity also saw expansion into unknown realms and Galaxies. Wherever the Zebratarians went, the light of Mangum Auctor spread bringing more sentient races back to being loyal to their true creator. Many had not seen such beauty as one of the majestic beings, and all would inquire more of their existence. The Expansion was peaceful except for groups of fanatics still loyal to Malderane resisting their progress. Despite this progress, a solemn mood was befalling the Golden Empire. Their founder and leader, Yenneraz the Great, was beginning to age. After passing 3000 Ge Yenneraz announced that Yennian, his son, would become his successor. Preparing for the moment of his passing greatly impacted the expansion of the Golden Empire. The immortals were not accustomed to one of their kind growing old let alone their leader. In the year 3205 Ge, Yenneraz the Great succumbed to age. His spirit returned to his Master's side in His eternal kingdom. All worlds began to honor his legacy and solemn celebrations were carried out across all of the stars. Yennian was crowned emperor along with his wife, Yansu. The new Emperor focused on building Security and Healing. The beginning of his reign saw a vast expanse of peace from the year 4,000 - 7,000 Ge. Yennian's Reign In the 7th thousand years of recorded time, Malderane re-emerged from hiding. His figure was greatly unrecognizable, humans took him in believing the alien to be a victim of the Dark One. This took place in the utmost southern regions of what is known as the Galactic Antonian. Malderane explained to the locals of the planet that he was indeed a creature from the dawn of time who had a set purpose that was lost in the Mazzacarian wars. The inhabitants of the land began to grow fond of him as he would help the locals by utilizing his extraordinary strength to resolve tasks that would take teams of men. Yennian caught news of this strange mysterious being in the year 7,124 Ge when the Chyme Lord's advance was suddenly stopped. The Golden Emperor set out escorts to bring him to the Spire in Vancoura. Malderane is taken aback by the progress of humanity in the years he was in dormancy. He met the Zebratarian Emperor for the first time at the top of the Spire. There, the two began to inquire about one another, and at that moment Malderane swore himself allegiance to the Golden Empire as a mercenary and steward of nature. In the Malkatech, it is written that Malderane would continue to do tasks that only an ally would perform, gaining more admiration from the Zebratarians. The longer into Yennian's reign, the more the Zebratarian Emperor realized that humanity would soon be a great force and capable of defending itself. To further assist the humans, Yennian created the "Patriarchy of Vancoura" in the year 7,300 Ge. Men were allowed to select a leader for themselves, and after five years, the elders of humanity confirmed their wishes to have Malderane be their Patriarch. From Vancoura, the entire galaxy was given over to the humans. Their numbers had grown to surpass any other Era, and their technology developed to the point that their tools were capable of creating planets. Malderane aided in the construction of Artificial Intelligence. Formulating a matter much like a soul, his machines were indeed like living beings. Some of them are described as monoliths of knowledge. Most of these machines would carry the brunt of physical labor which increased the speed that magnificent structures could be constructed. The core mechanics of these machines gave way to modern day robotics and AI. The Eclipse of Glory Prosperity began to peak within all mortal realms, more galaxies were discovered. Magnum Auctor's truth was spreading with every new world, and Yennian's Reign was successfully undoing all errors portrayed by the fall of man and the Dark One's Reign. The celebrations became more personal for the Golden Emperor in the year 7500 Ge when Empress Yansu, gave birth to their first born Daughter and Heir, Nova. A custom was held within Zebratarian nobility. The royal family would set forth on a retreat to raise their first born to the age of understanding. For a Zebratarian, that would take a span of time lasting 400 years. This was the first time an air was born within the physical realms, and a test to the Golden Empire's structure during this process. Advisors closest to Yennian made the case the Empire was on a solid course and the nobility would be more than capable of maintaining order in the Emperor's absence. But ever careful was the Golden Emperor. He mandated that he be alerted at the slightest suspicion of a threat to peace and Magnum Auctor's Will.

Tycoon Nelson Arron Nelson (AKA Tycoon Nelson) developed the first renewable form of energy to catapult whole planetary systems into a clean energy revolution. 10 times more powerful than traditional methods, this clean nuclear fusion reactor brought about great renown for himself making him the most famous man alive. He would have been the richest if he had not donated 60% of his income from his projects to charities and research into incurable diseases. Mr.Nelson continues to operate as one of the most influential figures in the G.A and is a close friend to the Anton himself. However, his career soon could be coming to an end as he approaches becoming 61 years old.

Vulipi is the home world of the main character, Phox. The Vulipi System "Proud and Dignified" The Vulipi system was the home of the sentient race called Vulupians. The Vulipian surface comprised many sub-races of fox-like aliens closely resembling one another. One faction moved itself to the moon of the world which also sustained life called "Lunar Vulpus". The Vulipi system and all of its life were destroyed in a mysterious cosmic event involving the entirety of the globe of the world. Statistics History of life Planet Population: 5 billion Form of Government: one party rule Capital City: Zymere Tallest Building: Metophes Dome (proceeded by the Clay Blocks of Polo Currency: Zentra Poundage Status: Destroyed/Dead Life was first mentioned in an astronomical charter written in the year 7981 Ge . Due to its proximity to Vancoura , the seat of the patriarchy of man, the world was attempted to be transformed into a civilization, but none of the natural life found could consist of enough intellect to create civilization. It wasn't until the year 14832 Ce that civilization was found on Vulipi. The Galactic Antonian attempted to bring them into the Antonian, but the Vulipian factions all declined and were superstitious of space travelers. A man appeared to start ruling the largest of the Vulipian factions, how he made his way to Vulipi is unknown. Soon, rapid expansion and technical advancements were seen via satellite studies of the surface. More attempts were made with the new leader, Mr.Carper of the unified Vulipi, but he refused stating that "It was not in the interest of Vulipi kind to seek the aid of humanity outside of his capabilities." Five decades later, the Vulipian race(s) had advanced to the point of developing spaceports despite still not having any visible space-fairing vessels. Mr.Carper ruled through multiple Antonian reigns but never showed age. This was documented as suspect by the G.A especially after more attempts were made to make an alliance. Some members of the senate put the Vulipian system on an alert scale under "Potentially developing Threats". During the Week of Terror , the Nameless Emperor's armada visited Vulipi. Some form of deal was apparent due to the fact the alien visitor did no harm to Vulipi. After investigations and intel were collected, G.A intel discovered that the Vulipians had successfully procured foreign weapons of unknown abilities from the alien emperor. Mere months after the nameless emperor was gone from the galaxy, Princess Nova was occupied healing the world that was damaged by his visit. Within that timeframe, a mysterious force appeared from the center of the galaxy and encircled Vulipi. The planet was protected by a sophisticated shield preventing anything from getting through. The G.A reached out to Carper to try and offer aid to which he refused. 2 years after the siege began, the shield collapsed resulting in total annihilation of the surface. Nova was made aware of this, but she stated that even her powers couldn't resurrect the dead sentient life lost on Vulipi, and it was voted to remain dormant. They Vulipi in the present After its destruction in the year 14892 Ce, Vulipi was investigated for possible signs of life to which none were found. The planet's surface was deemed "Toxic and a hazard to anyone who visits" and put off limits to any visitors who were not involved in the government or authorized to visit. At this point, the only known survivor is Agent Phox. The only details of the events that took place are considered to be top secret and only shared between officials in the G.A. The moon system that sustained life still does indeed host sentient Vulipian races. They are extremely hostile and avoid contact with outsiders.

The Malderane Era is the darkest time in history for humanity within the Adventures of Phox setting. Read about it here. The Malderane Era The Malderane Era (Me) began at the end of the Dawning Era, year 565De. This Era lasted for at least two thousand years ending in the year 2,109 Me and it is the most brutal of all other eras in history. Malderane , a self-proclaimed god, emerged onto the scene and set forth to enslave all races of sentient life. He made himself known as "The Dark One" and kept his name hidden from all beneath him. Humanity would suffer the most at the hands of the corrupted being. Some scholars imply that the Dark One was supposed to be the warden of the physical realm sent forth by Magnum Auctor However, this is unclear due to the age of events that make up this age in history. Malderane made sure the human home world, Vancoura, was subject to extreme horror and instilled dread upon anyone who dared to try and dwell on it outside of his desires. The Dark One turned the heart of the largest Continent on the human home world into his throne palace. At every waning Crescent phase of the moon, the kin to Malderane would go forth and cull large numbers of men at fighting age. They would do this to subdue any form of resistance even though there was nothing a mortal creature could do to harm a being like themselves. Malderane used the Waning Crescent, the last phase of the moon, as a forever sign in the sky at the end of the cycle to remind those under it he was forever watching. The Chyme Lords were the first humans who fell to corruption and sought to become gods. The Lords of Chyme The Word Chyme means "Time". And that is exactly what the Chyme Lords prided themselves on, the ability to manipulate time. According to the Malketech Tablet , the Chyme lords could not traverse timelines. But rather cause their surrounding area to become slower giving them an edge over their opponents . The Lords of Chyme during the Dawning Era The age of the Chyme Lords started early in the Dawning Era in the year 10 D e . The first human, Ungar, found the "Pools of Chyme", liquid from the raw state of the universe being recently forged, and drank from it. He, along with those who partook, gained unnatural powers. Ungar's Dynasty quickly became the dominant of all other human houses. Anyone who married into the families that partook of the Chyme would share the powers with their offspring. The Chyme Lords didn't want all to be equal to themselves and set their numbers to a set rank. As the years progressed, Ungar and the others realized that their special gifts gave them forever life. In the year 200 De , a great war raged between natural humans who were loyal to Magnum Auctor , and the Chyme Lords. According to the ancient text , the Chyme Lords expressed utmost dominance on the field of battle. Until one tribe of humans who were loyal to the true creator "Struck from the rays of the sun into the eyes of his enemy and seized their beating heart." The meaning of these words in the literal sense is not clear, but it is followed by "Their bodies were respected as any other man, and not revered as the gods they sought to be." This indicates that the expansion of the Chyme Lords and Ungar's Dynasty was halted and not the entirety of humanity lived under Ungar's control. The Lords of Chyme during the Malderane Era The dominance of the Chyme lords came to an end in the year 565 Me when Malderane proclaimed himself to be the real creator and deposed Magnum Auctor. This information was written in a preserved tablet from the Malketech and some details were found helping historians solve the mysteries of the dawning era. It is described that Malderane "Appeared in the house of Ungar like a plague. His voice mustered the venom of death itself, and none were spared from its call. All light was gone from him, and all light he consumed in the darkness of his malice. Contempt and hatred were shown to the Chyme Lords, and once they succumbed to his will, he spared not even the children of the neighboring houses. The high and lowly were all equally reduced to animals by unholy acts of butchery. Man was now reigned by a demon, a fallen Angel who forsook everything for temporary pleasures. In a world where mortals live and die, the immortal Intellect sold his birthright, given by Mangum Auctor, to be like the mortals." The author of this text continued to speak of the fortitude of man and how those found blessings in hardships when they kept to Mangum Auctor's faith. The Lords of Chyme during the Golden Era In the year Year 7,100 Ge, the Chyme Lords emerged from hiding to conquer Vancoura. Ungar and his hosts exploited the confusion and advanced quickly overcoming many space settlements where Zebratarians were not present. Upon confronting Golden Legionaries, the Chyme Lords would combat their powers with their ability to slow time. Even though the time manipulation was minimal, even that was giving them an advantage. The Chyme Lord's advance came to a halt in the year 7,124 Ge when Malderane set out on his own to personally stop their invasion. Unknowingly, the Chyme Lords attacked him not knowing it was the Dark One. Much like in the Malderane Era, the fallen humans became extra subjectable to the Dark Lord's cruel nature. He acted so swiftly that none witnessed the destruction of Ungar's fleet in deep space. Malderane returned with victory to the Zebratarians and humans on Vancoura. Whether or not Chyme Lords survived this event remains to be clarified. They are assumed to be destroyed in the Current Era.

So, in order for fast transit, the Ancient humans during the Golden Era constructed a space route that linked all systems together. After the great collapse, many sections of this space route were crippled or destroyed.
